Using Pure British Wool

Using Pure British Wool

Sourcing yarns are the best part of being a knitwear designer/ maker, the feel, the weight, new colours, they are all new and exciting, so when I finally found a great Pure British wool that suits the style and look of the current collection, I was so pleased. Most people associate British wool to be thicker and generally dull in colours, so pleased to find that there are so many colours to choose from. The bright yellow are my particular favorite, at first knitting on the 7 gauge was rather tough, but after tinkering around with the machines tensions and particular stitches I got great results, not just with the accessories but lovely warm fashion jumpers. Keep posted for new products using wonderfully warm British wool.
